About:China Consulate in Houston

72 hour free transit or no visa

If I am flying from NYC connecting to Shanghai for 4 hours before going to Beijing for less than 72 hours and then continuing on to Nagoya Japan, do I qualify for the free 72 hours?

Hayley, I’m afraid you cannot enjoy 72 hour free transit because according to what you said above, you stop over in two Chinese cities.
