Travel to hongkong during Chinese New Year

I will be going to HK during Chinese New Year 7 to 12th Feb and how is the weather at that time and any special event on the eve and 1st day of CNY?

What sort of clothes should I bring and will it be wintry cold?

According to the previous records, the temperature may range from 60 F to 70 F at that time. It was be cool and comfortable, but not cold. Don't worry. You are suggested to bring jackets, thin sweaters, pants and long sleeves.
In addition, you can see many interesting and characterized activities on that day, including the fireworks of Victoria Bay and Blessing Activity in Wong Tai Sin Temple. Have fun!
