Hi, Jojochio. How long have they overstayed? If they did not overstay for a long time, the situation is not too serious. If they overstayed for long, they may face some punishment. They need go to the public security bureau and report themselves. A fine of 500 RMB per day up to a maximum of 10, 000 RMB will be required. After that, they need to apply for an exit pass to go back to Singapore.

Thank u Nora.
Overstay for more than a week already.
Can they do it at the airport custom when leaving the country?

I think they can but it's better do it at the local police. If they do it at the airport, they may have a delay because of the issue and the flight tickets will be wasted.
