About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I am Sri Lankan and traveling from Melbourne to Colombo via Shanghai. My transit times less than 24

Transit times are 10 hrs onward and 14 hrs on return

So you are qualified for the 24 hour free transit policy on both legs of the trip. The transit permit is not required.
