About:China Visa Exemption

I am flying in to Shanghai to board a cruise ship. Do i need a visa? Stay is less than 24 hrs.

Upon boarding in Shanghai, the ship will take us to Japan, South Korea and back to Shanghai, where we will debark and fly back to Manila. We are holding US Passports.

Maria, if you hold the onward tickets with confirmed seats, then you don't need the entry permit both times you transit in Shanghai.
