About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I have a 1 year visa for China from Australia that expires on 16/3/2016.

I will be going on 22 December, 2015 and returning on 5/1/2016. I believe to enter your country, you need a minimum amount of time left on your entry permit. Is a little over 3 months OK or do I need to apply for another one?

Hi John, I think you have some misunderstandings on this issue. There is no requirements for a minimum amount of time left on your entry permit. As long as you enter before the expiry date, it will be ok. So I think you don't need to apply for another one.
