About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

visa question.

we two american citizens are traveling from ne to new delhi to shanghai (two days stay) then to okinawa then back to delhi and then ny. it sounds like i don't need an entry permit...can you confirm?

If you fly from New Delhi to Shanghai and then to Okinawa, you don't need the entry permit.
