im flying from malaysia to guangzhou on an australian passport

Im flying from kuala Lumpur on the 27 december 2015 5:30am to Guangzhou and departing from Guangzhou on the 29 december 2015 9:05pm. Am i eligible for the 72 hour transit visa? But the problem is that im departing from a non-qualified country but i hold an Australian passport. Can i still get the free transit?

Sorry, this is not allowed. You can't go back to the same country.
