journey (durationtime) from hotel to pudong international airport

Question

If my flight is 8:40am, what time do I have to leave my hotel (ibis expo hotel - chenshan road) to get to pudong international airport to catch the flight?  I presume I need to be there 1.5 - 2 hrs before departure.
