About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Journey (duration and time) from hotel to pudong international airport

If my flight is 8:40am, what time do I have to leave my hotel (ibis expo hotel - chenshan road) to get to pudong international airport to catch the flight? I presume I need to be there 1.5 - 2 hrs before departure.

Yes, you are suggested to arrive at the airport 1.5 to 2 hours in advance.
According to your departure time, you need to take a taxi to go to the airport directly. It takes 30 to 40 mins on the way. So you can leave your hotel between 05:30 to 06:00.
