I note that the picture is identical to the standard NEW ZEALAND plug. Can I use it in my hotel?Chinese standardSuch a socket is common in PRC, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries.

Abraham, you can use it when you are in Shanghai. Just pay attention to the standard voltage of your electronic products. It's true that most of them support wide voltage (100 to 240V). However, some special ones still don't support wide voltage.
