About:Visa Policy of China

have a valid visit visa for China, do i still need entry permit to enter Taiwan

Hello,

I have a valid visit L type for mainland PRC. Do i still need an entry permit for visiting Taiwan for tourism purposes?

Hi Akhilesh, this L type is only applicable to mainland PRC, so you can't use it to enter Taiwan. However, if yo have an entry permit for Australia, US, UK, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, or any one of the Schengen countries, you can enter Taiwan and stay for no more than 30 days without the entry permit.
