Hi ,I work & live in Luxembourg with a residence permit and I have previously obtained China visit visa on my passport.I need to visit PRC for a short business trip (4 days) in November & I intend to apply for a single entry permit - 3 month.my problem is that my passport will expire in DEC15 & I have no time left to issue a new passport before my trip, my trip is anyway within current the passport validity. is there any exception from 6month validity?

Samer, you have to renew your passport first and then apply for the business entry permit. It's just the rule.
