I am an American citizen residing in Doha How can I get a visa to China? where to submit?

You can apply for it from the embassy in Qatar. First, prepare your passport and its copy, an application form attached with your bare-headed photo, the original and photocopy of your residence permit and other supportive documents. Then go to the consular office and submit the documents. After about four working days, you can get your passport back.1
