Can i leave the airport?

I'm working in China so i have a residency. I'll travel in Korea then come back through Xian airport. I'll arrive at Xian airport on 6th then flight to Nanchang, China on 7th so i should wait for 14 hours. Can i leave the airport during that time then come back before the flight time?
