From Jinshanling/Simatai to Ming Tombs

Hi, what is the best way how to get from The great wall in Jinshanling or Simatai to the tombs? It seems like there might be a railway..? We plan to spend half day or little more on not so heavily visited part of the wall and move nearby to the tombs in (late) afternoon. We also lack idea how much time this transfer can take.. quess 3 hours?
Thnaks in advance

First thing to clear, there is no railway to the mentioned sites.
Both the mentioned Great Wall sections are far from Ming Tombs; also, all the mentioned sites are in suburban areas, which means public transportation are not very convenient and the departure frequency are not very frequent. If tansfer by public bus, you need to make at least two bus tansfers and I calculate it takes about 3-3.5 hours on the way. In the case, you are recommended to replan your itinerary or hire a private car to save time.

BTW, for the less crowded wall section, you can also check out Mutianyu. It is much closer to Ming Tombs and may save you some time.
