About:Macau Travel Tips

Hi. I will be going to Macau soon. I plan on exchanging money beforehand.

Is it hard to break 1,000 MOP bank notes around the city? My local bank can only provide MOP in denominations of 1,000. Thanks!

No, it is not hard to break 1,000 MOP in large restaurants, shopping malls or hotels in Macao, you don’t need to worry about that.
