About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I go back to the same country via China

Could I use this policy to travel from another country to PRC for 72 hours, and then back to the same country?

Country A--> PRC--> Country A

Or does it have to be Country A --> PRC --> Country B?

Under the free transit scheme, you cannot go back to the same country. The route has to be Country A - PRC - Country B.
