About:China Visa on Arrival

Can I fly from Beijing to Hong Kong with an S2 visa what I got for 6 days?

I got one on the border of Erenhot (Erlian) because my tourist type is expired. They said this is a port type but on which I see it says S2 nothing else about what type.

I got it for 6 days and they told me I have to fly out from Beijing and from nowhere else I can leave the country. So I wanted to book a ticket from Beijing to Hong Kong but they also told it is not possible I have to book it outside of China. But if I go to Hong Kong I will exit so I do not really understand. Please can you tell me if I can fly to Hong Kong and from there fly to Philippines? My nationality is hungarian.

Thanks a lot.

Kornel, I think they wanted you to fly from Beijing to Philippines directly. If the officers told you so, you'd better follow their advice to prevent any potential troubles.

Dear Kevin,

Thanks a lot for your fast respond but I felt they are not really sure about Hong Kong. And I would like to visit Hong Kong so if I go to Philippines then back to Hong Kong is just more time and money for me.
And first we talked about to go to Maleysia but from Beijing I should change fly once in China so it is also not direct. So I booked that ticket but unfortunatly it is not confirmed from the airlines for what I have to book now an other one.
So do you know where can I ask if I can fly to Hong Kong or if not what can be the reason for it? It is strange if I can not, isn't?

Thank you again!

Kornel, I know that Hungarians enjoy 90 days free entry to HK. So it should be ok to fly from Beijing to HK first. However, as you said, they told you that you couldn't do this. It's strange. I think you might make a call at Beijing Entry and Exit Management Bureau for help.

The phone number is correct. Where are you now? If you are in mainland, then you should dial 010-56095400. If you are abroad, you should dial 0086-10-56095400. And I don't know if you need to add some special numbers to make international calls.

Uppps...yeeh we just found out the extra 0 before the number.
So I called them and said: Hello, Do you speak english? Answer: No
Then hang out.
Wooow I really suprised.
So then I explained the situation for chinese and they called for me and finally they confirmed I can fly from Beijing to Hong Kong and also I can cross the border from Shenzhen to Hong Kong.
Sop I will choose the second one. :)

Kevin, Thanks a lot again for your effort, I can continou my journey in safe now.
Hope my issue will also help for others.
