About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I required to have a visa entering Beijing for a layover flight to the Philippines?

I am a permanent resident in the United States and am planning on traveling to the Philippines. My question is, I have a Philippines passport but have a US green card. The flight I am planning to take to the Philippines requires a 2 hour layover in Beijing (PEK).

No, the transit permit is not required. You are eligible for the 24-hour direct transit policy.
