About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I apply for the transit visa once I land in Beijing?

Hi. I am doing HKG from the USA via Beijing, and my layover is no more than 2 hrs both ways.

Hi, David, you don't need to apply for the transit permit because you qualify for the 24-hour free transit. If you have no plan to go out of the airport, you need to do nothing.
