About:China Tourist Visa

Apply in Hong Kong for a return tourist visit to China

I have a friend who needs to return to China on a tourist VISA and she has already had her first visit. Can she apply for a tourist type in Hong Kong being a South African? Or does she have to go back to South Africa to do the renewal.

If she can renew in Hong Kong, what are the requirements?

Nidia, where is your friend now? It's suggested she apply from the country she is currently living in if possible. Nowadays, it's not very likely to get mainland entry permit from Hong Kong if the applicant does not have HK residence permit.

If she wants to apply from Hong Kong, she may need to hire a travel agency to do the application for you. Otherwise, she needs to go to some nearby countries to do the application.
