About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I have an X2 visa valid for 31 days. Is it possible to extend it for two weeks while in China?

If so, does anyone know the procedure and potential cost?

Hi Michael, it's possible to extend it for two weeks. you should first get your passport, recent bare-headed photo, application form, an invitation letter from your school, and the registration form of temporary residence. Then go to the local exit and entry administration bureau to submit the application. The cost is probably CNY 160.
