About:China Embassy in Thailand

is it possible to apply for a working permit in Bangkok if you are a non-native from Thailand?

Any body have any experience? Thanks so much !

Samantha, by "working permit", do you mean the Chinese work Z type? If you are just temporarily staying in Thailand, it will be difficult to get the Z type from Thailand. If you are residing there, you can apply from Thailand for the Z type.

Thanks for the response! Yes, Z type. I have been here for eight months and have a working permit for Thailand. Do you think it will be a problem obtaining it from Bangkok? Thanks so much!

In this case, you can apply from Thailand. The original and photocopy of your work permit in Thailand will be required when applying.
