About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Hello, how can I get a police certificate from Beijing?

We lived there for 3 years and now we are applying or PR here in Canada.

Kay, you need to go to the notary office in Beijing. They can issue a letter to require the police station that adminstrates the community where you stay to issue the police certificate. Before you take it to use in Canada, you need to notarize it at the notary office.

Hi,
Is there a way to get a police certificate without traveling all the way to Beijing? Is there a way to apply for the certificate by mailing the required documents and wait for their response ( like your answer to Love from July 10 regarding a police check from HK ). Thanks, Kay.

Kay, you can entrust some or an agency to do this for you so that you don't have to travel all the way to Beijing.
