HiI have booked myself in Novotel Xinqiao Hotel, Dongcheng and have 2 days in the city.Now want to know 1. How far is the South Station to this Hotel ?2. How far is Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Place, Great Wall of China from this Hotel ?3. Any cheap good food options available near the Hotel ?4. Good safe honest tour operators who can show us around?5. Is travelling at night safe ?ThanksSuman

1. The South Station is around 8km from your hotel. 2. You should know the Forbidden City is close to Tiananmen Square. Their distance to your hotel is around 3.3km. To Summer Palace, it is 22-25km. Which section of Great Wall do you refer to? For Badaling, the distance is 70-75km; to Mutianyu, it is almost 70km. 3. Many reasonable restaurants are near the hotel. Which flavor of food do you prefer?4. I'd recommend Travel China Guide to you. They offer great tours in the city, perfectly covering these destinations. I had a good trip this trip.
