About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

transit in beijing airport from SG to Dunhuang

I intend to take air china from SG to Dunhuang and I have about 14 hours layover in Beijing airport before taking air china flight to dunhuang at 6am on next day.

1. can I get out of airport and stay in airport hotel for 1 night as I do not intend to stay in airport lounge?

2. if need visa to get out from airport, how to apply?

Tmoon, if you have Singaporean passport, you can visit mainland China for 15 days without holding the entry permit and you can travel from Beijing to Dunhuang. If you don't have Sigporean passport, as long as you get the entry permit for mainland China, you can still travel from Beijing to Dunhuang.
