Overstaying by a few hours

My daughter can't get a flight on the day her visa expires but can travel at 1.50 am the next morning so will probably go through security before midnight unless there are delays. She wants to return to China after the summer. Will she have a problem? What should she do if her flight is delayed? Thank you for any advice

Eleanor, I do think if she can go through security before midnight, there won't be problems and bad effects for her next entry, but she should confirm this with the immigration officer. In case that the flight is delayed, she needs to go to the nearby exit and entry administration of the police security organ and apply for an extension of the entry permit.
