About:Transfer at Shanghai Maglev Stations

Transport from PVG airport to Zhongshan Park station

Is it easier to just use subway line 2 from PVG all the way, or do you recommend using SMT then transfer to Line 2 at Longyang road station?
What is the difference between the two options above, in terms of
1) ease of transport
2) total time it would take
3) cost

If take SMT then transfer to Line 2, where would I get the subway ticket? Thanks

Well, you can take subway line 2 at the airport, get off at Zhongshan Park Station directly. It takes around 70 mins on the way. And the ticket fare is CNY 7 per person.

Or you can take maglev train to get to Longyang Road Station first. Then transfer to take subway line 2 to arrive at the destination. The whole way takes around 35 mins with the cost of CNY 54 per person.

Both these two ways are easy for you to choose. The mainly differences are ticket fare and travel time.
