About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Do i have to be in Australia to apply for visa? Or is it possible to do it while i am travelling?

Hello, i will be travelling around Asia for a few months and will likely visit China before returning to Australia. Thanks

Montaray, you can apply for it from other countries while you are applying, but you are not recommended to apply from South Korea because an ARC card with no less than six months' validity may be required if you apply from there.
