Beijing - Chengde - Beijing

Hello,

Going to Cheng de from Beijing I take a bus from Liuliqiao Long-distance Bus Station. How many buses a day? Do I have to buy ticket in advance or it's just enough to show up let's say 30-40 minutes before departure and you'll get a ticket?

How do I travel back to Beijing with a bus? Where does it stop?

There are around 45 schedules every day from Liuliqiao Bus Station.
The operating hours are from 05:40 to 18:40 with the frequency of around 20 minutes. And the ticket fare is CNY 85 per person.
In usual time, you can buy the ticket after arriving at the bus station. The schedule is frequent. So don't worry.
About the return way, buses from CD Bus Station departs from 06:00 to 18:00 with the interval of 20mins. Most of them stops at Liuliqiao Bus Station. You can also inquiry about the return shcedule once upon arrival in CD.
BTW, there are train between the two cities. You can search the schedule by yourself on this web.
