About:Visa Policy of China

I want to visit Beijing from Tokyo and back to Tokyo. Do I need to apply for a visa?

I'm an American living in Japan. I just want to visit Beijing for 2 days.

Hi Robert, what is your flight schedule? If you fly from Tokyo to Beijing and then directly back to Tokyo, you will have to apply for an L type at the embassy or consulate in Japan.
