About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i don't need visa for istanbul turkey - final destination. am I qualified for the 72 h policy?

my plan is: 30.07.2015 fly from ulaaanbaatar to pek, 72 hours beijing and then on 02.08.2014 pek to istanbul. the problem is that the flight from beijing to istanbul has a 3 hours stop in baku (azerbaijan) where i have no entry permit (i will stay anyway in the airport for this 3 hours...) cheers
paul

Paul, you just transit in Beijing and your next destination is Baku. If you are allowed to stay in Baku without entry permit, then you are ok for 72 hours free transit. You just need to be very sure that your flight doesn't stop at any other Chinese cities. If it stops at any Chinese city, then you are disqualified.
