can i apply business visa while i am already in hong kong?

Hi, im from the philippines. im already in HK as tourist but my business meetings will be longer than anticipated and i needed to be back and forth to HK. can i apply for a M type while im in HK or should i go back to the Philippines to apply? will there be any conflict?

Hannah, according to relevant rules about mainland entry permit application, foreigners cannot apply for the mainland visa from HK if they don’t have residence status there. So I’m afraid you cannot get it. However, you can try to get it from agencies. Maybe they have means to get it.
