About:West Lake (Xi Hu)

1 Day Tour at West Lake

Hi,

I would like to spend one whole day in Hangzhou and return to Shanghai on the following day morning. I have a list of attractions which I want to visit but I am not sure on the flow of my itinerary. Feel free to make any suggestion and also if possible a estimate of how much time will be spent on each attraction?
I would like to visit
:
1.Tomb Of General Yue Fei
2. Linyin Temple
3. Three Pools Mirroring the moon
4. Lotus in the Breeze at crooked Court Yard
5. Six Harmonous Pagoda ( Is this Leifeng pagoda?)
6. Viewing Fish and Lotus Fronds at Flower Pond

Yes, you can cover all these scenic spots in one day, and you are suggested to hire a taxi.
Actually, there are three spots you mentioned belonging to Xihu Lake Scenic Area. There are all near.
You can tour them following the route as below:
Yuefei Tomb – Lotus in the Breeze at crooked Court Yard – Lingyin Temple -- Viewing Fish and Lotus Fronds at Flower Pond -- Six Harmonous Pagoda (Leifeng pagoda)-- Three Pools Mirroring the moon

Also you can gain much fun if boating on the lake.

So do I go on a boat trip on top of the listed scenics?
Do you know whether it's easy to get a 7 seater taxi in the city cause I'm travelling in a group of 5 people.

Yes, you can take a boat at the port near the Yuefei Tomb and have a geat sightseeing.

Nearly all taxis in the city can hold at most 4 adult passengers. But I heard the taxi company also offer larger size taxis for rental to passenges. It may be for you to handle that on your own. If you book a hotel in town, try to ask your hotel to help to book one or directly hire a private van to accommodate you all.
