About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Visa application for a friend but in different jurisdiction.

Hi All, I am going to China with a friend in late May and I am going to apply at the DC center. She has sent me her completed application as well, but the thing is, she lives in Louisiana. Will the people in DC not process her application? Will they make her send it to Houston. I know if she lives in Louisiana she is supposed to apply in Houston but since I'll be bringing it in to the DC branch, does it make a difference? I can't get in touch with anybody at the center either.

Hi, your friend has to submit her application to the consulate in Houston. Even you submit it here to the DC branch, the consulate won’t accept it.
