About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be travelling on an Australian passport. Want to know about 72 hours visa-free transit.

Can I fly in to Beijing from Istanbul, stopover for less than 72 hours, and then fly out to Sydney, changing flights at Guangzhou, under the free transit policy?

Sorry, you can't enjoy 72 hours free transit in Beijing if you plan stops in Guangzhou.
