will be going to shenzhen for a few days. how do i get a visa?

Do you mean that you want to go to SZ from Hong Kong?
If yes, you have chance to get five day VOA.
And if you have enough time, before you go to Hong Kong, you are suggested to apply for the mainland visa in advance.
