About:Chinese Embassy in Czech Republic

Visa if only entering China 4 months later

We would like to travel through Asia for 6 months and China for 7 weeks. We leave Czech Republic the beginning of December and will only enter China the beginning of March for 7 weeks (we will have exit flight). We will apply entry permit in November (4 months before our intended entry into China).
Would we be able to get a 6 month one with 60 days stay or will we have to exit after 30 days and re-enter (double entry)?

Anthea, the earliest time you should apply is three months before you go to China. Usually, the applicants are suggested to apply one month in advance. You know, usually entry permit is valid for three months.

If you never been to PRC before, i am afraid that you may not acquire the 60 days one. It won't be a problem if you just get a 30 days single L type. You can extend it at local entry and exit management bureau at least seven days before your single entry one expires.
