can i renew my philippine passport in Shanghai instead of going to beijing? thanks a lot.

Hi, I'm working in Yining city, Xinjiang.

Yes, you can renew it in Shanghai. However, you are advised to renew as early as you can. According to your consulate, you should apply for E-passport first and keep using your new one is done. It takes eight weeks for your new one is printed out.
