About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Conflicting information! Please help.

I arrived in China on a single entry "M" visa on the 27th of February 2015. The 30-day entry permit stamp shows the 27th. I was under the impression that I can stay in China until the 29th of March, assuming that the "30-day count" starts on Feb. 29. I made my travel arrangements accordingly. However, I have now been told, that I have to leave China not later than Mar. 28. Who can help me: what is the last day that I have to leave China - the 28th, or 29th of March??

Martin, I don't know who told you that you had to leave before Mar. 28, but based on my knowledge, you can stay until 23:59 of March 29 as the stay duration counts from the day following your arrival.
