Inquires about extending the Macau visa

Hi!

I am from Malaysia and I planned to spend my summer break (July and August) at Macau to visit my friend.
Since Malaysia is having free entry for 30 days, is it possible for me to enter Macau first and then extend the entry permit for another 30 days before it expired?

Thanks a lot!

Vivian, you can try to extend the entry permit at Foreigners Subdivision of the Immigration Department. If it is not permitted, you can go to Hong Kong and then reenter Macau to reset the stay duration, so that you can stay in Macau for another 30 days again.
