About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

i have a working visa and my son is born in china but have canada passport.

I am canadian and i have been working in Shenyang for 5 years. my son is born in SY and now is 3yld with a canadian passport. does he need to apply? and what kind?

Frank, is your work resident permit still valid? If yes, your son can apply for an S type to live with you in China. The granted stay duration of your son depends on the remaining validity of your resident permit.
