Beijing Aquatic Center and Stadium (Water Cube and Bird's Nest) nighttime photo takings

I'm going to the city at the end of April, definitely interested in taking nighttime pictures for aquatic center and stadium but not going inside the buildings for visit. Is there any entrance fee to get in this area? Any specific time that they turn on the lights? Many thanks!
