About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Can a tourist in Australia apply for a Chinese Visa in Brisbane?

I'm a British citizen and want to go to Australia to visit my uncle who lives in Queensland and get my Chinese work entry permit whilst I am there, is this possible? I read something about needing proof of legal residence in Queensland in order to apply for an entry permit in Brisbane.

Jodie, you can have a try there by providing the original and photocopy of your entry permt for Australia. However, I suggest you had better apply for the work Z type at the UK. You know, it's not easy to get a long-term China entry permit in a third country.
