About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

transit visa inquiry. Do I qualify for the 72 hour free transit?

I am a US citizen flying from Hong Kong to Beijing. I will be in Beijing for less than 72 hours and then will head to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong-Beijing-Hong Kong is not a transit at all. You need to apply for a visa for that beforehand.
