the lantern festival in Yuyuan park, Shanghai - will it go on for more than just one day?

Im told its very good to go to Yuyuan park for the lantern festival on 5th March - will the festivities and lanterns there go on for longer than the 5th or only that day?
are there any other places around China that are really good for lantern festival but have things for longer than just one day?
