About:Shenzhen Travel

while in Shenzhen i will travel to Hong Kong. Can I use the Chinese CNY or only the HKD?

Most of places in Hong Kong need HKD dollars. Just a few places allow CNY. Also, it's more expensive to use CNY than HKD. So you are suggested to prepare enough HKD in advance.
