About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

new policy?

Ive been living and working in China (z visa) for more than 10 years, married to a chinese for 7 years and have a 5-year-old son. We have tried many times to apply for permanent residency but the PSB keeps telling us to wait for the new policy coming. Dont know exactly what they mean. Hopeless

Jen, I didn't hear any news about the new policy. I think the PSB is just paltering with the issue or maybe the officer deems you are not eligible for the permanent residence permit at present.

By the way, it's almost impossible to get the permanent residence permit even you meet all the requirements and submit all required documents. You know, just around 200 foreigners can acquire this every year.
