About:China Private Visit Visa

I picked up my passport today and realized I was issued an S2 visa.

I am visiting my aunt and uncle, who is an American working in China, at the end of March. I had checked the box "short-term visit to a foreigner residing in China due to work, study or other reason," because I didn't understand the immediate family requirements. Will this be an issue if I already have S2 type? Do I need supporting documents while I travel, or will it be ok since I have the S2 one in my passport?

since you have already got the S2 type, I think you can enter China even though you are not family member in accordance with the set-forth definition. Anyway, you can prepare some supporting documents to make sure that you can enter.
