Hello William, you need to apply for a torist L type for vsiting China. Documents required for the application may include a valid passport (with at six months' validity and two blank pages), a photocopy of the passport, a filled application form affixed with your recently taken bare-headed color photo, and round-trip tickets and hotel reservations for China.
